CONGRATULATIONS – SURREY JUNIOR GIRLS (=SE TEAM CHAMPIONS)
TOP 3 RANKINGS for JG Camellia Harding, JG Hope Kalfoss, IG Isabelle Wheeler, IB Ewan Sone, IB Sam McGeorge and SG Annice Kemp.
The 2025 SE Intercounty championships @ Newbury lived up to the usual high standards of ‘elite running’ that makes it correctly regarded as the toughest Inter County competitions in England. Pleasingly, our athletes certainly took the opportunity to build for a successful future.
The large numbers of Surrey involved and their ability to race at speed added to day of confident, exciting and high quality racing.
78 individual Surrey athletes took on the best in SE England, with our Junior Girl Team fishing as SE England Team champions (2ND Camellia Harding, 3RD Hope Kalfoss, 4th Sophie Keeble, 5th Freia Harper Tee, 6th Jessica Wood, 9th Anna Wait) with one of the biggest winning margins of the day (61 point).
We congratulate all who took on the challenge and those who achieved top 3 SE England rankings –
We are already looking forward to more Surrey Success at the coming ESAA XC championships on 15th March .and the U13/U14 Inter County championships (22nd March).
